Chemical stock + tanks + IBCs
End-of-life chemical stock, returns, decommissioned tanks and IBC heels.
Chemistry comes back. Suppliers take returns and off-spec product. Plants decommission tanks with heels in the bottom. IBCs come back with a few hundred litres that nobody wants to pour out. End-of-life stock sits in stores past its date. Much of it is controlled under HSNO, and all of it was sold once as product.

Export, incineration offshore, or stabilise. Concentrated chemical stock is packed and exported under Basel Convention permits for offshore treatment, or blended with binder and buried in a Class 1 landfill under the waste disposal levy. The supplier pays to dispose of what they paid to make.
The chemistry is recovered where it has value and concentrated where it doesn’t. Tanks and IBCs are returned clean. Recovered chemistry has a route back into the supply chain it left, and what cannot be recovered leaves as a small, defined concentrate. An independent laboratory report closes each job and gives the supplier evidence of recovery rather than a disposal docket.
